CONSULTATION ON VILLAGE DESIGN STATEMENT – FRIDAY 7TH FEBRUARY  4pm to 7pm and SATURDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 10am to Noon at the Village Hall

The Village Design Statement Group has completed the draft of the Village Design Statement. Copies  can be downloaded here 15 – Crawley Village Design Statement Feb 2020   and reference copies will be placed at The Fox, the Village Hall and the Church.

The Village Design Statement describes the parish of Crawley as it has developed and as it is today, and it highlights the qualities valued by its residents. The aims of the Statement are to ensure that any changes are based on a considered and informed understanding of the village’s past and present, and to ensure that Crawley’s special nature will be protected and enhanced.

Your views of this draft document are important, and residents are invited to a “drop in” consultation event on Friday 7th February between 4pm and 7pm and Saturday 8th February between 10am and Noon.   Members of the Village Design Statement Group will be on hand to answer questions that you may have. If you are unable to attend please send any comments to the parish clerk at clerk.crawley@parish.hants.gov.uk or talk to any member of the Group.

Following consultation with the village and any amendments the Village Design Statement will be submitted to Winchester City Council. Thereafter there will be a further period of consultation to include members of public and statutory consultees before the Village Design Statement is formally adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document.
